Parish News for March, 2026 and 2026 Lent schedule
Lenten Stations, Mass and Soup - Each Wednesday of Lent our 12 Noon Mass will begin with Stations of the Cross, Mass and followed by Soup and Bread luncheon. All are welcome.
EASTER FLOWERS - We will again be decorating the altar this Easter with lilies. If you would like to donate a Lily In Memory Of or In Honor Of someone, please fill out the form and drop it in the collection basket, or give to Marie Land or Ellen Rossoni. The cost is $25.00 each. Please return your form by Saturday March 28th. If you need more forms, they are in a basket in back of church.
SAVE the DATE - Please join us to hear about Father Antony's recent trip to India. Lynn, Gabi, and Father will be sharing their adventures with the church community on March 18th at 5:00 pm in the St. Ann Fellowship Hall. Refreshments will be provided and all are welcome.
United Ministries - The Women's Club will be collecting non-perishable food items and hygiene products for United Ministries in Manning throughout the year. All donations are appreciated. There is a large blue container in the back of church where you may place your items. Someone will collect them each week and take them to the ministry. Thank you for your generosity.
Servers, Lectors, and Eucharistic Ministers Needed—We need your help! Service at the altar is a great privilege and a significant support for the beauty of the Sacred Liturgy. If interested in helping Father Antony during Mass, please contact Ellen Rossoni 803-433-0066. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

POPE'S INTENTION—March- For disarmament and peace. Let us pray that nations move toward effective disarmament, particularly nuclear disarmament, and that would leaders choose the path of dialogue and diplomacy instead of violence.
Meaning of Penance - Penance means being charitable at all time towards those around you, starting with the members of your own family. It is to be full of tenderness and kindness towards the suffering, the sick, and the infirm. It is to give patient answers to people who are annoying. It means interrupting our work, or changing our plans, to make the necessary adjustments for the rightful needs of others.
