St. MARY -Our Lady OF Hope Pastoral Council Minutes
Wednesday, July 15, 2026
Attendees: Mary Druding, Valera Goff, Donna Burchell and Fr. Antony
Fr. Antony opened with a prayer.
Minutes were approved by all.
Finance: Fr. Antony reported that He and Ron Madrid had a budget meeting. They will publish a statement when it is all prepared.
He also reported that there are three teams of two people counting the collection after Mass. Money is deposited and the report goes immediately to the diocese on Monday morning.
Catholic Appeal was discussed. Fr Antony is always away during this. He advised Valera that maybe she could speak from Alter regarding this.
Second collections were discussed. There are separate ones for our church and the Diocese.
Building funds was brought up by Mary Druding. This should all be in the budget.
CCD: Nothing to report.
Building and Grounds: The Holy Water fonts can be put up as soon as we locate them. Frank Leone will work on getting that done.
Liturgy: August 14th Our Lady of Hope will have the 6:00 Mass for the Assumption.
Women’s Club: They have purchased an Alter Cloth to be used for any mass honoring Mary. It will be used the first time at the mass for the Assumption.
Old Business: Church directory: Valera presented the information and the date [Saturday September 26th]. She is going to put together volunteers to assist in this endeavor.
Time, Talent, and Treasure Event: Since October is volunteer month. Fr. Antony would like the event to be held sometime that month.
Historian: Fr. Antony is still looking for someone to head up this position.
New Business: Valera inquired about Flocknote/e-blast language. Fr Antony said it is for larger churches, but she can speak to Jan regarding this.
